JDPterygo Retractor
The JDPterygo Retractor is a gingival retractor suitable for surgery with pterygoid implants. This instrument, designed by Dr. Filippo Casotto, has a 2-tooth design of the pre-angled ends of the instrument designed to reach and stop at the base of the pterygoid pyramidal process and thus allow a precise and controlled flap lifting. The laser line on the pre-angled end will guide the operator indicating the correct inclination of the implant osteotomy.

Instrument equipped with a central handle with 2 ends pre-angled at 20° that serve the function of a gingival retractor. The 2 ends are flat in shape and have 2-pointed metal appendages. A central laser mark on the flat portions indicates the direction of implant insertion, one for the right side of the jaw and the other for the left side.
